We regularly have cause to search for things. One of the experiences I’m sure all of us have had is eventually finding what we were looking for somewhere we thought we'd already checked. I've had the unforgettable experience of losing my car key in a store. I knew when my daughter dropped the key but to our surprised, we couldn’t find the key anywhere. We searched the entire store just to give ourselves a benefit of doubt but to no avail. However, since I was sure of when she dropped the key, we kept checking the place over and over. We spent over two hours in search and in serious prayers before we eventually saw the key hiding in a hidden corner of a chair.
In like manner, the walk of faith demands that we keep checking until we see and handle what we are looking for. Elijah demanded that his servant go and check seven times before his servant eventually saw the cloud (1 Kings 18:41-45). Jesus told his disciples to go back again; when they did, they saw that they have five loaves of bread and two fishes....
